Google is very capable of transferring spam, viruses, etc. The links are not proven to be safe. You can prevent this by installing extensions that help prevent this, or download a safe browser ie.Google Chrome, etc.

World's best search engine. you can search everything that is available on the web. Even you can filter your search according to file types. Can not imagine internet without Google! :) Google Rocks!! \m/

The tracking stuff can all be turned off in the Google Settings. Just goto the Web History settings, delete everything, then pause the tracker.
