Google is a good site, I don't use it anymore as I prefer Bing due to artistic differences, I find Bing is more visual and that's why I like it better.
But it's a safe site, although I don't think it's cool that they track people.
This is the real Google search engine website. It's safe, but Google tracks your internet history and approximate physical location to tailor search results to you, which is invasive. Also, be careful what you click; some ads look like results and Google doesn't filter dangerous links like search engines similar to Bing do.
