google.com é seguro?

Google since it's inception has blatantly violated the trust of its users by collecting personal information and tracking on-line activity without consent. The company builds individual dossiers on users not only for targeted advertising, but to sell to other companies and government entities. I use Google's services (ie email, gdrive, maps, etc.) with caution and only after "opting out" of their collection of personal identifiable information and tracking. Even so, I do not trust the veracity of their promises. Google censors content provided not based on concerns for "safety" or "truth" but to manipulate perception to support their political agenda. Google is not the only company providing on-line services nor even the best search engine. A little research reveals many alternatives with companies that operate more ethically and transparently.

Great search engine, but be careful, like any search engine, you can find some adult content and gruesome or shocking things. I would recommend turning on SafeSearch if you are under 18. (You can turn that on at the top of the results page or under the Tools section)
