This site was initially on a "suspicious sites" list on my bank side, had to confirm my bank it was me with my own credit card shopping online there. (No idea which reason put this site on this list).
Before shopping, I tried to contact them by mail just to make sure there was someone on the other side. I received a reply within 30 minutes.
Then bought some stuff, and I got a series of emails : order is confirmed, being prepared, shipped (by DHL, from UK to France) : hardly more than 24 hours between "Add to my basket" and having the product in my hands.
The item I received was brand new and in a perfect condition.
NB : successive reviews about "handtec.co.uk" show very different customer experiences over time. The whois history has 33 records since 2014-12-05, possibly highlighting that this website (or its domain name, at least) has changed hands a lot lately, explaining different reviews (even in WOT).
This seller neglects to its customers. I'm done shopping at this store many times. Here are the main difficulties that I faced:
- The seller does not keep track of the availability of goods. The site can be stated "in stock", and after payment of the order comes to e-mail with the message that this product is not available. After 14 days of waiting order is canceled, because the product did not appear out of stock. My order number 1110714
- Can not be true is specified the delivery charge. After the purchase the seller sent me a letter "to pay for sending my order 116.7 pounds." I tried to find out the reason (LiveChat with Nikita), but the seller without my consent just canceled my order. My order 1178450, payment by April 10, 2012.
- Seller in any case did not go to a meeting and offered to solve the problem arose on his side. Each case is an answer - "sorry, we are very sorry. We can cancel your order."
After the last order I refuse the services of the store.
