Is hsn.com Safe?

Apparently ***** had been tracking my search for a particular shoe. Their website listed the shoe image at a very low price. I placed an order using their PayPal link, instead of the usual email order receipt, I received an email stating that I had agreed to make unspecified periodic payments. When I phoned HSN regarding my order, I was eventually informed that no order existed. I then received an email stating that the "Agreement" was cancelled. PayPal verified that no order from HSN was received. - I changed my password, and am now much wiser for the experience.

HSN (the name was originally an initialism for Home Shopping Network) is an American broadcast, basic cable and satellite television network that is owned by HSN, Inc. which also owns catalog company Cornerstone Brands. I always look for special deals from HSN, especially on electronics and accessories that are bundled and sold at a good price. If within 30 days I am not pleased with my order, I advise HSN before returning and credit is issued as soon as the item is received in its fulfillment center. A word of advice is to return every piece of the item you ordered so that you do not encounter any problem in getting a credit. I recently ordered a tablet to be delivered to a different address. HSN called me for verification but I wasn't able to call back within 24 hours. My order was canceled, which I understood, because I know that my account is protected. All I have to do us to call in order for HSN to lift the "hold" on my account.
