Otherwise excellent site that is less child-friendly than its current rating indicates. Unsupervised net-savvy kids with their own email address will have no problem bypassing the filters on a wide range of R-rated movies.
I love the TV shows on the site and the ability to put my favorites in my queue to watch as they become available. What adult content, you have to sign in to watch mature programs, since I am an adult I like this, I'm not looking for family time. I would prefer to have ONE long ad before I get into my program. The pop ups are frustrating.
Hulu is a great website to watch TV shows that you missed. It is basically free television. It has an ads before, and sometimes during the show that you are watching, but they are only like 10 seconds each. Personally I like the convenience of being able to watch any show when i want. They also have so movies, but they aren't that good. The site is completely child safe, if a child tries to watch something inappropriate it doesn't allow them to watch it, and asks them to log in to verify that they are 18 or older. Also you are able to sign up for a free account where you can be informed by email when Hulu gets a new show that your interested in.
Hulu is one of the top video streaming website on the net. Although the movie content could be better, there is something for every family member, except X-rated materials. All videos are of excellent quality (most HD) and members are not required to use a special player to view their content. The owners are constantly upgrading the website to make viewing easier and convenient for their members. There are commercials, however they are shorter than the tv versions. Also, advertised products which have not been seen on tv for years can be found on HULU, i.e., alcohol. HULU is not a peer uploading nor downloading website.
