Users should be cognizant of the information they choose to provide in their profiles, as the level of privacy they desire is entirely up to them. Given its mission and aims, LinkedIn is not appropriate for children, though it does not contain offensive material.

Again - it's not a site for children - but nothing unwanted for them is there.
The only thing that I find misleading if section' people you may know' or sth like that and buttons Connect/ Add to network - they look the same and you're not aware that you're inviting someone who doesn't have account when you click 'Add to network' button.
The application also somehow imported all my contacts from my phone without permission.
