Official website of Linux Mint distribution. Only a few issues regarding default settings (default Firefox search engine, etc..) but that got really better since their contract with DuckDuckGo. Sometimes down due to new Mint release, but ISOs can be easily found on one of the many mirrors available. One of the most popular Linux distros, one of the best and the one I'm using for my usual desktop work. Worth a few donations !

Linux Mint and everything to do with Linux Mint is GREAT. I am a Linux enthusiast, and have used quite a few different distros, but Mint is by FAR the best and easiest to use. For those people out there that think Ubuntu is easy; well think again cause Linux Mint beats Ubuntu. Basically Mint developers took Ubuntu and made it what it should be. I recommend to any Linux beginners, to get Mint and stick with it, mostly because the learning curve is so much faster for Mint than other distros I have tried. My 51 year old dad switched to Mint after using Windows only; he liked Windows and didn't know if he wanted to change. It took him 3 days maybe a couple more to get VERY comfortable with it; I'm talking he know exactly everything he was doing by that amount of time. Now he doesn't even use Windows EVER anymore.
