Is livecareer.com Safe?

OK people. This site is not that bad. Those of your rating it poorly need to re-evaluate. Yes, there is a lot of advertising, they need to pay for their site somehow. Even though they offer free custom tailored job evaluations through the quizzes it's not free to the site owners to keep the information up to date, create the tests, and manage all of the information. This costs money people. Is that too hard to understand? If you want good information, for free, and don't mind clicking "no-thanks" to the college course offers this is a VERY informative site. For those who made comments about the tests being false because they ask you a question and only give you options of jobs you don't like, it's called psychology... they have questions with jobs you're going to hate and jobs you're going to love and those in between. If you get a question that asks "Between these jobs, which one interests you the most?" they're getting a feel for your responses. They have to generalize it because there are literally thousands of people taking these tests. Some jobs people will love some they will hate. You only have four jobs to select from so just pick the job that interests you the most out of the ones that are available. Even if not a single one of them interest you. It gives them a feel for what does and doesn't interest you. Anyway, enough of my rant. It's a very informative site if you take the time to read the material and finish the tests. Oh... and as far as the "Spyware / Adware" and "Spam" comments... that's a bunch of malarkey as well. Opt out of the mailing list when you first register. People are so freaking retarded, they just get click happy without reading and don't "Opt-out" by un-checking the box that asks if you want to be on their mailing list. The box is initially checked, not unlike 99% of the sites you register for now-a-days.

The ***** tests are false. A test will allow you to mark all questions asked either option this test prevents you from marking the test with truthful answers to get a valid result. Fun to try but do not use real information when filling this out. This site is only trying to spam you in to online degrees that they force down your throat. It is like the old Drawing test scam of years gone by that any one that could doodle a picture on a napkin was a born artist just pay $$$$ for more testing. Site gets a kick back off the degrees they promote. Get you signed up billed for something none returnable that you end up trying to cancel. If you use the site make up personal information and do not give these guys your financial information.

I have signed up to get job offers in my field. I do Telecom install The site chooses jobs suited for me as Legal, Medical, Accounting, and other non related positions. NASA Astronaut is far from my abilities

Waste of time. There is no way they could possibly create an accurate test results when the question layout forces you into choosing an interest your not even interested in before you can move on to the next page. plus this looks like its designed to share your information for junk mail and junk email.
