Is lynda.com Safe?

When I do a video search, I expect to get a video, not an invitation to "Sign up". To avoid this website, just enter "-lynda" in your Google search. Read the other comments carefully. No normal website has so many nice little comments like this. I'm not saying that they deliberately seed comments to WOT, but, think about it- Really? Everyone just loves to pay them their money when they can get free video instructions elsewhere? Oh, and it's run by LinkedIn. So they all know about WOT ratings.

i don't know are they teaching for free, but as per my knowledge it is not free. i can't afford its subscription.. but it is advertisement in TED newsletters.

-> This is pure commercial place intended to " Make money " than teaching. They've advertised in all popular websites with huge investments. They know student psychology, based on that they will utilize you at maximum to grab as much money as possible. -> I've gone through their titles initially i was exited to learn but eventually I've noticed that they keep on suggesting courses inside each courses and this will never end. Also they don't teach any course completely. When you complete a course you will be in sort of confusion, to get rid of that confusion you will search another title, and the process goes on and on. -> I've lost existing knowledge. -> Most of the time they say whats there in the video, they can't even teach it. They are afraid they may go wrong. -> I've used support team to solve technical question. Their response is this "Your question does not seem to be related to any of the title". They want us to ask whats there in the video series not the subject that video series teach. -> Whats the point if the tutor is a highly experienced guy, but he can't make listener understand the subject. pros: -> This site is not spam. -> Secured transactions.
