Is megaupload.ma Safe?

FAKE MEGAUPLOAD SITE! Please read my comment for details. Thanks you france with it's lack of justice and security, thanks Google to place in it's first search results! ***** => *****: MEGA: New official download site and file sharing (formerly www.megaupload.com) site that allows sharing and downloading via key secure and highly encrypted, meant this time, avoid tracking by third parties. Please be warning of fake megaupload sites, for example hxxp://www.megaupload.ma (very dangerous and infected by malwares)! The true official site is www.mega.nz ! The interstitial Pop-up of mega, touting its client software MegaSinc becomes annoying for people not wanting (difficult, especially for non-English speaking not to download and install it in place of the desired file). The rules of use have been tightened since the result of the closure of the old site megaupload, to avoid further hassle of Justice, Kim Dotcom already under major legal hassle after his former MegaUpload. Formerly MegaUpload (created in 2005 by a German Kim Dotcom, living in New Zealand), one of the most famous file sharing and downloading site, known worldwide, and supposed to be made to last, especially by the geographical distribution of its servers to avoid the vagaries of justice. This site was eventually closed (with the FBI after numerous investigations and tracing and international cooperation, given the money involved) following numerous complaints and proceedings, especially through multinational of the production of intellectual and artistic artworks , audiovisual goods and softwares. Accused of massive and lasting receiving stolen of intangibles copyrighted and intangible goods used in malicious purposes ( software for pirates), etc. By its richness Kim was able to stay in New Zealand and avoid extradition to the US where he was waiting for him a lot of judicial and punitive trouble. The FBI had been close MegaUpload because this site was ending in ".com" (meaning commercial purposes site) and the suffix is under US ownership. 0 0 User picture Cosmopath ***** I'm pretty positive this site hosts beta versions of Mega (it's owned by Mega). It works fine, this and ***** are both very good cloud storage services. Here's my rating for mega.co.nz; "A clean, user-friendly cloud storage website. Probably my favorite site in that category. The company that runs it is a very big player in the web privacy game; there's a lot of encryption and security in the uploaded files. Safe site. My favourite cloud storage service."
