This site is Microsoft, a very trustworthy company. Many people dislike Windows Vista and other products, but it is a really good operating system if you know how to optimize it. Despite the bad ratings, every operating system has its pros and cons.

Microsoft products recommended for download are NOT always good for your particular system. One must be decidedly computer literate to comprehend the product updates and how they could affect your system. By default, Microsoft promotes every product as being important for every system. This is not the case, and can cause serious problems.

They push their closed standards down your throat. "Free" trail of office lasts just long enough to get you enticed into creating documents that you have no way to open without paying $300 in a few weeks. (Hint: http://openoffice.org )

Die Seite ist schwierig in eine Kategorie einzuordnen. Da ich bei MS gemischte Gefühle hege, versuche ich mich nur auf die Page zu beschränken. Seite ist eigentlich immer verfügbar. Das Download Center ist i.O. und die Seite ist alles in allem sehr übersichtlich. Da MS aber einen Kontrollwahn hat traue ich der Site in keinster weise über den Weg.

I know there are many MANY MANY windows haters. But, I like the site because I like to learn about windows products. I mean really, you are criticizing them for advertising on their own site. Thats all they do on Apple's site - advertise. At least Microsoft offers MSDN, knowledge base and technet. Oh,and my version of Windows Vista runs fine. Its not Microsoft's fault if you manage to get a virus.

Why do some people hate vista? I think it's people who don't understand vista and it's many advantages over windows XP , is this site safe? that goes with out saying of course it's safe!

Microsoft is a trustworthy company. This site is extremely safe. The ones with "bad customer experience" just don't like the microsoft products; in other words, they're rating it on their opinion of the quality, not the actual quality.

This is a really safe and informative site. Vista is a really good OS if you know how to optimize it, which one can learn from this site.
