Is microtekdirect.com Safe?

Very poor customer service. I bought an inverter in July 2010, which came with a 2 year warranty, but the vendor (Chennai Electronics) would not help me. I contacted Microtek & asked them to send a technician to check the inverter & the battery, they said they wouldn't & I should ask someone else. I managed to contact another dealer ho was helpful enough to send a technician to fix the inverter. He also told me that Microtek never provides service for their customers, even when you buy from them directly. He suggested it is better to buy through a dealer who will give you a warranty card for the Inverter & a copy of the bill for the battery, and assist you with free service during the warranty period.
