Steals content from mod authors by rehosting without permission, this and other 3rd party mod hosting sites sometimes repackage mods into sketchy installers that can contain malware and toolbars.

I don't know what you guys are talking about. I have downloaded many mods here. They all work. No spam. No Adware. I think its a good site, it deserves a good rating.

They claim to have minecraft mods for the latest minecraft version even though the specific mods (Redpower 2 in this case) don't exist for the latest version yet. It is just a site to generate money by the ads and lure people on the site to generate ad views.

Google Spamming, falses notes for mods updates, force to like this site to download, adwares, this site give money off other peoples work. VERY BAD SITE!

I tried to dowload Zome's modpack for this site an some time ago, but only what I got, was some kind of adware-spam. Not trustable!

I don't really think you should believe them when they say they are the Nr. 1 place for Minecraft Mods and other Minecraft goodies when it is possible for your computer to catch a virus from the download sites minecraft-mods.org uses. They also force you to 1+ them on Google+ or follow them on twitter before you can download anything. Plus the site is very unreliable! If you search any mod on there, it will say it is for 1.4.6 1.4.5, 1.4.4, and 1.4.2 (Even if it isn't even updated yet)
