Is minetest.org Safe?

I cannot recommend this site. It is designed to be misleading & draw in people investigating the upstream & original source of Minetest. The site for the official Minetest is minetest.net, NOT minetest.org. The site is authored by a former Minetest contributor/developer who appears to have an extreme grudge against those who continue development of the main branch. Much of the site is dedicated to allegations & threats of litigation. Many pages on the site are riddled with negativity & the author also goes to the extreme of attempting to expose other Minetest developers by posting their personal information. This, to me, is unethical & potentially puts these people in harm's way. But the author justifies these actions with the repeated use of terms such as "legitimate and reasonable purposes that are protected under U.S. laws". The author tries to support his claims by posting personal conversations help with some of the core Minetest developers. However, I have yet to come across a link or citation that would allow me to determine for myself that the author is being unbiased. It has been said that the site uses trackers to try & get personal information form visitors in order to engage in contact or harassment from the author. However, as I have never experienced this for myself, I cannot say that it is true. But the unethical & obsessive nature of the site alone should be enough to make any observer wary.
