very difficult to get to information without suffering advertisements, videos and unwanted material. Wastes time and resources. Difficult to block.

Site invites visitors to install adware (Windows Live Messenger) which is hard to remove and displays advertisement banners, also integrates itself in the system to run automatically on system startup

MSN's hotmail service fail to deliver messages sometimes. Yahoo mail is much better for now. Also google gives a lot better experience than live search.

It's always a good idea to use an alternate email account as a 'spam-collector'. Not only do you relieve yourself of dealing with the piles of junk-mail, but you also avoid the viruses/cookies associated with a particular site.I was picking up an average of a dozen 'bugs' every time I went to my old account, so I stopped using it for email altogether, and only for SPAM.

MSN has a wonderful search engine as well as home page. Its nice and easy to use.

It has a great messenger and email system, but in some installations they give you the option to accept ads and stuff. Don't do it, it will ruin the experience.
