Ist mywot.com sicher?

I agree that some people may abuse the use of WOT to hurt businesses that they don't like or the other party in politics or religion, but for the most part, WOT is great for a general idea. I don't care if I don't agree with the website's content, just that it is safe for everyone.

Тут даже не доделанная система оценки, а как обычно очередной, завуалированный маркетинговый ход. Мы как всегда забываем, что бесплатный сыр только в мышеловке, а создание и поддержание подобной системы требует достаточно мощное капиталовложение...

mywot.com is an example that demonstrates how sites can be trusted while still using tools that involve cross-site scripting or leakage to third party services. They do it properly by disclosing the facts. In their privacy policy mywot,com clearly explains that it uses Google Analytics compared to many who either disclose nothing or use a generic descriptor rather than specific disclosure; that it embeds YouTube and Facebook which makes the user subject to the privacy policies of those parties. It gives one of the best explanations of cookie use and permits users to disable cookies with the understood possibility of some loss of functionality. None of that is hidden or obscured, so the web site can be trusted. The fact that it can be trusted should not be taken as a given because of the type of service it provides. There are many that supposedly serve similar purposes that are not in fact trustworthy and do not provide clear disclosures. So it does make sense to rate WOT itself.

Это проект реальный. Не знаю, инвестировать ли или нет, но о струнном транспорте наслышан. Этот проект поддерживается Белорусским правительством (есть даже какое-никакое финансирование). Им выделен полигон под Минском. Я где-то полгода назад читал статью: они собирались строить опытный образец. Глава и главный инженер проекта полон энтузиазма, но есть и скепсис (в частности, в МГУ заказали расчет самой струнной магистрали - и есть нюансы. Любому знакомому с сопроматом и строймехом они будут понятны, я думаю. Как обеспечить прочность и сверхмалые прогибы при большом пролете и высокой скорости? Натяжение? А что делать с усталостными деформациями стали? На рельсы идет новейший композит? Испытания? И т.д. и т.п.). Но это реальны высокотехнологичный проект. Не хайп. И как все новое, он может выстрелить или провалиться.
