WOT has really lost a lot of creditability lately. I have found a lot of comments left by individuals who have to first hand knowledge on the sites and a adding negative comments to reputable sites. Also I have seen a lot of sites being marked as being not safe for kids without having any content that would be offense in anyway.
On a lot of affiliate websites people are posting negative remarks based on the industry even if the sites are not selling anything and are giving tips or information, people are putting it as a scam.

If you have a problem with a specific website's reputation, start a thread about it on the forum. Note that lots of people don't trust affiliate sites, especially if they are selling products that they consider to be fishy.
Site can be hacked by players. Has occurred numerous times.

Why all the WOT hate?
If you don't like it, then don't use it.
The misinformation is not from WOT, it's from bots. If you appreciate the many sites that are rightly rated, then pay homage by reporting the false rated sites.

you are promised everything until you pay -- then you find you get nothing that you cannot get for free on the internet -- Cyber Solutions USA LLC .. it has three employees and nobody to get a hold of. The addresses and phone numbers for this company get you nowhere. its VPN service is in Beta ?? ... everything screams SCAM
