https://nationalfriends.org is a non-profit organization which informs the public about liver waitlists at nationally certified, through UNOS/OPTN, liver transplant centers. It provides specific information on the time a waitlisted liver transplant candidate will wait given their specific meld score. All statistics are certified and taken directly from the National statistical database managed by OPTN. UNOS and OPTN are the United States Government's national organization managing the waitlists for all donor organs, including livers. It is a legitimate outreach organization and supported in its mission to educate the public of their choices as to transplant center waitlists.
