Seems to me the site well worth to read. Recent news combined in several catgories, news are updated several times per day, thus always there is something interesting to read. One may plug his own publication to appear in the news and to be discussed in the forum - nice idea.

This is a sort of scientific Reuters, giving brief summaries of the latest news and papers in several scientific fields. That being so, it would be odd if it delivered untrustworthy content, or malware. Does it sell anything, or collect readers' data? It would be a precocious child who wanted to be here. So the site is certainly safe and the content reliable, after all, quite a bit of it is from press releases, either directly or written up by the staff. Otherwise the rating criteria seem irrelevant.
