Is pingdom.net Safe?

Thank you for the community reviewers, I've now redlighted this on global scope in µMatrix browser extension (not affiliated, just recommend it for NoScript users as an alternative I find easier and more versatile to use — once you get over the initial confusion I at least had for a short bit of time)

User tracking, aka AB testing, otherwise they do NOT seem to host any malware. ***** Well, who wants tracking?

That domain name is a privacy concern and potentially a security risk. Because both that domain name website the its whois do not contain clear information about who they are and what they do. Until they clarify those I prefer blocking that domain name. Be aware, I came across pingdom.net while visiting the US government's new "Health Insurance Marketplace," healthcare.gov. It was among several sites blocked by NoScript. As HealthyTheWombat originally stated - and I verified - pingdom.net is considered "Blacklisted" by URLVoid (see Healthy's comment for link). This is due to Bitdefender TrafficLight, which gives the following message when pingdom.net is scanned: "Stop! This website is not safe. This website contains malware that may harm your computer. This website contains elements classified as malware: software that can harm your computer or operate without your consent. Visiting a site that contains malware can infect your computer." Reference: http://trafficlight.bitdefender.com/info?url=http://pingdom.net Interestingly, Bitdefender only has an issue with the .net domain, meaning ***** passes without triggering any alerts. Also, it is worth noting that Bitdefender is the only authoritative source - that I've checked - that currently flags pingdom.net as "blacklisted," or otherwise untrustworthy. Securi SiteCheck, Google Safe Browsing, and McAfee SiteAdvisor all show a clean report. ***** claims to offer real-time website monitoring services. No idea whether or not there is any sort of cross-site tracking going on, but I wouldn't be surprised.
