pingo.comは安全ですか？

I have been using Pingo for years. It is an international calling card service that offers unbelievably low rates with fairly reliable call quality (it's improved from 6 years ago) for a low fee ($3/mo). No one has ever stolen my credit card number, charged me too much or failed to apply an addition of funds to my account. I believe I had a bad experience once 6 years ago when I called my to-be husband then boyfriend in his dorm room in England (with me in San Diego). The rate wasn't what I thought it would be because the company with his dorm was different from that of the surrounding region. I can't remember how it worked out, but I believe they gave me a credit for the misunderstanding and I was aware for the future. Shortly thereafter, the company for the dorm room (which serviced other regions of England), reached an agreement with Pingo to offer lower rates. Now the whole country is available to call for amazingly low rates and cell phone rates aren't bad either.

They offer good quality connections at good rates. However, I did initially share the same customer experience as did "prahadhir," in which I expected to be able to call within an hour of signing up. When I contacted customer service, I was told that it would take two days to evaluate the new account. However, within an hour of signing up, I did receive my PIN and had my account credited with the $20 I purchased. I would suggest they mention on their website that the wait for approval would take "up to two days." The only other problem I had was with the way they were supposed to charge the card during the 50% discount days. The calls initially showed up as their normal (but great) rate. The following day, the account was automatically corrected to display the special rate which was used. I would like for them to update their website to describe these two common concerns customers might have so future customers' angst was avoided.
