A great place to discover more music. I personally like many of the...creative reviews on pitchfork, although I can see why others wouldn't. The site is updated on a regular basis with interesting band reviews that, while you may not agree with, can help to open anyone's world to new music.

While I would say 80% of the bands and artists Pitchfork reviews I really dislike, I have been turned on to some really cool bands through their reviews and the fact that they update daily and focus directly on indie and more obscure bands I think exposes music fans to new and interesting music that they might not otherwise seek out.

Always bands no one has heard of, then once people hear of them, they ostracize those who think the band is still "hip". It's just their conformity in nonconformity. It's a hipster music source. Hipsters read pitchfork like the Bible...
