I played Mexican dominoes. The designers have ego problems because it forces the other 3 players win 85% of the time. Classic example: when one of the other players runs out (plays all his bones) on the first turn, you the human player will routinely be stuck with 8-10 bones giving up ***** points. When YOU get a first turn run out, everyone else just happens to play 8 or 9 bones and you end up getting a "huge" lead of 8-15 bones. If you get ahead on the first two rounds, by round 6 or 5 you'll not be able to play any bones on the first turn, and someone will have a run out and - zap! - you are in last place. Small ego people need to think they are "getting over" on some anonymous person fighting insomnia late at night. Don't play these games -- they are not "random" at all.
