Excellent source for science papers, and it's even better that it's open-source. No issues with the website. Interviewed the founder on my science talk radio show (Peer Review Radio), and he's absurdly nice, and seems to have incredibly honourable intentions with PLoS One. My extensive use of it in my research has given me no reason to doubt or the site's (or his) mission of helping making science available to everyone. The papers are top-notch, as corroborated by the high impact factor of the journal, and span a fairly wide variety of topics. Highly trustworthy & extremely reliable. The open-source nature also helps protect the privacy of its users (as you don't even need to log in to view papers). If you're a researcher or just interested in science, I highly recommended PLoS One.
