Is programmershare.com Safe?

I was on this page and got a popup that wants me to install Java Plug in... http://ask.programmershare.com/475_16152596/ Always suspicious. When I try to close the popup. Iget to another page that wants me to download Fla Stay Away!

When I pressed the browser back button from their site, I was immediately hit with a fake pop-up warning of a trojan or virus on my system. Additionally, the main web page displayed a blue-screen-type message, trying to make me think I had experienced some calamitous, system-level error. I visited the site a few more times to determine exactly what is was doing. It hit me with advertising pop-ups each time, e.g. vedinarytrafficnews.com, trfkav.com, trafficsolute.com, and perhaps worst of all, ***** Here is what one source says about that last one: "System-breach-check.com is a redirect infection which can be also classified as an adware since it is created by the malware developers to make profits by scare computer users to purchase unwanted anti-virus programs or virus-fixing service." That was a cute one: every attempt to close its page would result in a new one immediately opening.  This prevented the browser tab from being closed, and prevented the entire browser program from being closed in a normal way. I find programmershare.com HIGHLY SUSPECT, and strongly encourage readers of this review to avoid it.  (I have blocked it at the system level by adding it to my hosts file.)
