They have passed this audit and the results show that it is above board and they've posted this info on their website. It is legitimate, and I have won a $25.00 gift certificate with just 1 bid! It is a gambling site, however, and not an auction site. You pay 60 cents for a bid (poker chip, in gambling parlance) and each chip that is bet will add 15 seconds to the betting clock. It seems to be misleading, until you comprehend what this site is and how to place your wagers.

I've been on QuiBids for about 2 years, and have won more than 4 items. I've never had a problem with deliveries or anything else here. Items won: Kid's basketball set my cost $2.37 iPod Nano ( current gen) my cost $9.98 Leatherman tool my cost ~ $6.50 Of course there's a $5 shipping charge, but heck, a brand new Nano ( was a great Christmas gift) for less that $10? Puhleeeze! All items delivered, delivery a bit slow, but it was delivered. No Spam, or spyware that I can detect. Possibility of shills, which is why I rate it untrustworthy for kids. If you can keep your head about things, you'll do okay.

If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. This site sounds alot like Beezid and even the commercials were very similar. My opinion is to stay away from this site and buy from trusted sources. Just because it has a commercial does not mean it's trustworthy.

Look, the site isn't a scam. I have bided and WON! You may not know what your getting in to. You basically pay .60 cents a bid. If you use that bid but don't win the item, you just lost .60 cents unless you decided to put that money toward the purchase of that item. You can make as many bids as you want, but if you get up to the price of the item, it will stop you and tell you to just purchase it. I think some of these people didn't know what they were doing, and lost there money. They tired to get the most expensive things first. You just can't do it. you lose. You have to practice with the $10 gas cars. Learn to bid. I won lots of gas cards for 1 bid. Some I just purchased after putting so many bids into an item. Just make sure you really want the item before you start and you can't loose. If somebody beats you in the bid, just purchase the item. No lose that way. I'm way ahead right now, and no feelings of guilt. I'm aware that each bid even they show it as .01 cent. So I just don't bid and keep biding like it is one cent. I bed like it is .60 cents and for every bid I make I multiply that by 60.

Quibids is not a scam, and the site explains in detail how it works and there is a risk involved, as it is a bidding site. I have won a few items that are very expensive for a fraction of the cost, and they were shipped within days to my home. I recommend spending time studying the site, and learning how and when to bid and you will be a successful winner. Again, there is a risk involved, and thats what scares many people away from this site. There are a lot of bad, scamming, fraudulent sites on the internet, but this one is far from a scam.

Its not a scam but it cost money to place a bid, that money is not refundable whether you get that item or not. If you have mad clicking skills for bidding at the last second its perfectly fine.

I actually enjoy penny auctions. It's not a bad site as much as it's just not for everyone. Won a tv for $37 the other day and resold it for $600. It's like anything like this. It takes patience and knowing what you're doing. We go to auctions all the time and are avid ebay sellers so it would only make sense that this would be right up our alley, BUT like I already said, it's not for EVERYONE.

I question the negative rating. I've been using the website for a while not and have made more than my money back in $15 gift cards that only cost me $2. I have also received all my items well within the 10 business days that is promised. This site is more than fair to the individual. The company also is 'shill' bidding. I'm not ignorant to think that they don't but they don't even need to. They make money on the bigger items with or with out shill bidding. Either way you can still get these items at retail price or less. Its fair to the customer and its fair as a business. Nothing wrong with this site, just these their help page.

I have been a bidding on Quibids for nearly 2 yrs. I have won LITERALLY over 100 items valued at way more than the bids I've purchased.THERE ARE NO SHILL BIDDERS! I've been to other auction sites WITH shill bidders and have learned which sites to stay away from. I do not work for Quibids. It used to be alot easier to win but thats because it wasn"t as well known as it is now. There are ALOT more people bidding now as the site has become VERY popular due to word of mouth mostly. As for big ticket items,yes there harder to win so unless I was going to BUY a tv anyway (and had the money to buy it) I simply wouldn't bid on it. BUT if I WAS going to buy a tv I would buy bids, take a chance, have fun and hope I win--but if I didn't win I could still purchase the tv from Quibids AND ALL the money I used bidding on that tv has gone towards the purchase of the tv!!! The prices are the same you would find in the store and their shipping charges are great! NOTHING WRONG WITH QUIBIDS! HAVE BEEN THERE AND WON MANY MANY TIMES!!!
