It is a shame that I cannot give this website the best rating, because Mignon Fogarty ("The Grammar Girl") writes entertaining articles that actually make grammar interesting and fun. Unfortunately, in order to read her articles, one must first wait out the unusually intrusive and annoying pop-up ads that block up the entire screen when you first access the site. It baffles me that someone thought this would be effective advertising; the pop-ups are so unpleasant that I have decided to stop recommending the site to my students, and to stop using it myself.

Too many advertisements to be useful, it even froze once while I was on it. One advertisement pops up and fills the whole screen, although there are no pop out ads (ads that open a new window). If you decide to visit this website use Adblock. Marked suspicious as these ads could lead to somewhere suspicious.
