rapidshare.com is a good website, but beware people who upload to the site may upload infected files. (Not rapidshare's problem, but the problem of the person who uploaded his file)

As a 3 years on a row subscriber this service is worth the money, it offers me high speed download and unlimited parallel downloads.
@hannina, try opening the history list, disable add-ons.
@frankieboy03, you can still download files, but you need to verify the captcha and you have limited access with regard to bandwith, it is with all services.

Often they won't let you get out of their website, by pressing the BACK buttn, unless you either close the window and loose your previous website, or disable java.

This site tries to FORCE you to pay to download what should be free to begin with. This site is nothing but a scam. There are lots of ratings for this site already and most of them are positive. I am sure that the people who rated this site are from Rapidshare itself or there would be no good ratings to show.
This site is a scam! When you try to download something on the free line they try to force you to pay for their service! You get messages like "The free lines are busy. Please sign up." There are no such things as BUSY lines on the internet.

you need to have an account which to pay in order for fast downloads. without it the downloads are slow. but it gets worse. they NEVER scan their files for viruses and keygens. i always got them in the download which is also bad customer experience. go to cnet ***** instead.
