Ist reason.com sicher?

Poorly researched articles. The authors tend to write using personal opinion as their backup, as opposed to actual facts and statistics. Most articles are written to agree with a political viewpoint rather than to educate with accurate material. Not suitable for anyone looking for information. Very suitable for people looking for self-confirmation.

If you're interested in challenging some commonly held beliefs, and you aren't afraid of a little cognitive dissonance, Reason has quite a bit of solid content. This site tries to dig into the unseen and unintended consequences of that which is believed to be "good" by the vox populi.

Website content is opinion and commentary. Some is extremely Libertarian, some is mild and balanced. There is even historical content that is educational, accurate NOT revisionist! I have rarely noticed adult language in the comments, but when I have, it was highly unsuitable for children. Site is safe for computers and adults, not children.

I left hundreds of comments at Reason from about 2003 to 2010 or so. Almost all pointed out how they were wrong: they ignored material information, failed to acknowledge the downsides of what they promote, etc. etc. Instead of trying to present a counterargument, their visitors viciously smeared me. While I personally don't agree with many things they post (some are unreasonable), the comments can often contain adult content (mostly bad language). Many commenters don't participate in serious conversations but off-topic amusing/rude rabbit trails.
