Reddit is a great site for discussion and sharing. It is a huge community and organizes its content into subreddits. The goal is to ensure that you are only going to find what you were looking for. Keep in mind that this almost completely community based and not everything is going to be child appropriate. Almost always these posts will be marked but it is best to be cautious.
It is a great site overall!
Ive never been to the main site and I suppose it is a good site from the reviews. I have found alot of times they are 3rd party scripts loading in other websites. I dont use them or care about them so I block them.
Great fun site. But it does have 18+ content somtimes, and it can give advice on how to pirate content, and it has more then once been host to some users posting about illegal inormation.
You can show stuff to your kids, but just dont click willy nilly.
This is a legitimate community, but I can't see how many of its forums would be ok for children.
Since it is a community forum, users can and do post links to sites of all types - good and bad.
Reddit is a fine a site but it is for adults and I don't understand the child safe rating.
This site is basically a site with a bunch of subforum like topics people can up/down vote. Anyone can create a subreddit on any topic.
Some of these have very NSFW content.
Reddit doesn't really hide this too so it is a good, reputable site but NSFW/kids.
This site is free of any adware, malware, spyware, etc, however does contain links to adult content (some of which are outside the 18+ boards). Not recommended for young children.
