The site is amazing with its community and ability to help other people but just be warned that there are 'sub reddits' that not only is not safe for children but will potentially scar them for life. Other than that it's an amazing website.

Content and age level vary wildly by section. Any user can create a "sub-reddit", the most popular ones are generally good and well-moderated.

Being as this site is mainly opinionated it may not be the best for young children. NSFW content is clearly labled, but kids do still have the possiblity of stumbling upon it. For the most part it is safe.

Great site to find out about anything. Kids are welcome but there are the dirtier places on here that are easy to avoid.

A good website if you wish to find interesting articles and stories from across the web, as well as an adequate forum through which you can discuss a variety of topics with other users. Originality in terms of media content is not very reliable, but the discussions can be very stimulating. Any subject, topic, or hobby imaginable—real or fake—is represented (or can be represented) here. It's quite a unique website with a much more efficient approach than its competitor, Digg. I suggest trying it out sometime, if only for the experience.
