Before thinking about doing this one you had better read the terms in full- including the DRM sections. Even when they say "purchase" it isn't a purchase. You own nothing. Then combine it with the usual horrible privacy policy typical of online music sites and why bother?

Good site but a friend tol me kazaa is better format for iPad, so I am trying it now. Love it so far. I heard kazaa used to be sketchy like old napster, but now it is legal and has a ton of great music, doing the free trial now, but even the sub rate is good, so I might keep it.

The instant after I accepted their T&Cs their free trial installation software overwrote my Lenovo Laptop HDMI port audio & video device settings and software. To get back my HDMI I had to re-install windows 7 (the full overwrite procedure) and then wait for 81 updates to process. Enough said.

"Impossible to cancel" is more accurately described as pester-cancellation : phone call required. I try and cancel every few months just to get the free time. To address "free" : the service offers 20 free listens a month. Whip out a credit card and it's a 30 day free trial. Rhapsody is solid.
