Is royalmail.com Safe?

Being in the UK, I had to use this service... They have an "international economy" package for heavier parcels that do not require urgent time to be delivered, that's why I think it did fit my purpose. and I must say it worked out fine. But still a lot of proceedings needed to be completed in order to get quite simple things up and running.not sure if it is a royalmail, but it works for the laymen like me.

Royal Mail provides essential postal services, especially for the countrysides… but delays in delivery, particularly during peak times around Christmas. It can be disappointing. While the service is reliable overall, tracking updates could be more consistent. Tracking history can get stuck at some point and customer service cannot tell anything else than what is already showed in tracking.

It's possible that sender never sends item but site shows that item is preparing like forever. They are claiming they "do not know" what happens with package like it is sent or not. Avoid this.

Although I have rated this site as good, trying to contact customer service is a nightmare. Make sure you have all the details when you finally get to a contact number. To make it easier their contact number is 03457 740 740 but don't be surprised if you get referred all over the place until you get your answer. Also if you are trying to get an update on a signed for service the customer service operators will only know as much as what you do when searching for the tracking number in question.
