Is safeway.com Safe?

These corporate owned businesses start out great. They offer everything, but then they lose good workers. Out in rural areas but everywhere, they are too big to fail. So when they start messing with customers or letting other people in community use their space to mess with customers, they fail to manage their people and the whole idea just falls apart.

I was home sick one day, really feeling too lousy to go out, so I investigated the idea of ordering my groceries on line with Safeway and having them delivered. It was great! The delivery was free for orders over $50 (and when do I go into a grocery store and spend less than 50 bucks?) so it was painless. Next time I am rushed for time or ill I will not hesitate to use this site.

I don't appreciate the popup surveys from the Safeway email ads that other WOT users have rated so low, so many times, they are RED. One of them was "survey bonus" and when I went to the Safeway site from my email, it showed in my privacy settings that I had signed up for all kinds of 3rd party stuff, when I hadn't. Check your privacy settings on Safeway guys; when you go to unsubscribe, cheetahmail tells you that you will still receive transactional emails. I'm not sure what that means, but I don't want any emails from Safeway, at all!
