Two softwares installed Instead of only one. This second is an unwanted and pretty bad for your computer "Winthruster".

Gibt in meinem Fall vor, aktuelle Software für 3Com-Switches bereitzustellen. Der Download beinhaltet dann allerdings das Tool DriverDoc welches auf der Website als 3Com Treiber-Update-Tool beschrieben wird. Dieses Tool hat nichts mit 3Com zu tun! Es findet nicht einmal installierte 3Com-Hardware, geschweige denn evtl. Treiberupdates! Nach einem "Scan" werden eine Unmenge "notwendiger" Updates aufgelistet, die aber nur nach einem Kauf von DriverDoc installiert werden.
Also VORSICHT! Unerfahrene Nutzer werden hier verunsichert und indirekt zum Kauf der wohl eher nutzlosen Software gedrängt!

Сайт с вирусами. Проверял Norton. После установки пошла атака вирусами. Написал в службу поддержки. Ответили- вирусов нет. Врут.

Tries to lure customers by adding popular search terms of DLLs and file endings to their site, but always just links to the same program. Possible scam/adware.

Looked at site for VIA-260 drivers - http://www.solvusoft.com/en/update/drivers/gps/tomtom/via/260/model-numbers/
scanned the "driver" file - ***** See file name tab which has this same file as aliases for many "driver" fixes. I think it may have extras stuff you don't want or need. Deleted without installing.

Misleading link offered to scan my system and downloaded a registry cleaner program with malware/adware attached. Luckily I opened the program in a VMware installation.
I was able to see its nefarious attempts and stop it in its tracks.

WinThruster sieht der Software DLL-Files-Fixer bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten sehr ähnlich.
DLL-Files-Fixer wird nach meinen Erkenntnissen von einer Firma in Malmö/Schweden hergestellt und vertrieben.
Jetzt kann man sich fragen, wer da wenn bestohlen hat.
Bei Winthruster kann man den Serverstanort nicht feststellen.
E dürfte aber in der Schweiz sein, während das Unternehmen "Solvussoft" in Las Vegas in den USA sitzt.
Der Serverstandort von DLL-FILES-FIXER jedoch läßt sich zweifelsfrei feststellen.
Jetzt muß ich es jedem selbst überlassen, wem er mehr traut.

Found this site when searching for details relating to a BSoD with a specific driver. Their page describing it (http://www.solvusoft.com/en/files/bsod-blue-screen-error/sys/windows/microsoft/windows-7-home-premium/rt86win7-sys/) just has a bunch of boilerplate text with a link to their "registry repair" software. Typical site trying to capitalize off people trying to search for driver/executable names online.

This site is highly rated on Google, but the advice on any subject is incomplete, and generally pathetic. It is obvious that they only want you to buy software.

The site claims to offer driver updates for specific devices. But all the links lead to the same program.
Lenovo Update Tool is identical with Canon BJ-30 Update Tool.
This looks like malware.
Comments show mostly no trust, but the site rating is excellent - strange.

Claims to have driver updates, installs their Driver Doctor progam which then scans and claims you need to update several drivers. However when you attempt o update one or more, it forces you to have to Purchase the Program. BS, misleading, installs an unwanted and useless program to get you to buy it. You can get all the drivers FREE elsewhere, it is a waste of time and you money, DON'T FALL for it.

solvusoft.com is the homepage of Solvusoft, a software company with products such as DriverDoc and SupersonicPC, as well as other, system maintenance related utilities for Windows platform. Pretty clear pages, no ads that I could see, nor any malware. Seems trustworthy.

The "FileViewer Pro" is nothing else than a simple viewer for known files and hex viewer for unknown files. If you search for any file ending via Google you automatically get to this homepage: http://www.solvusoft.com/language/file-extensions/ where you don't get any further information about your ending if it's not totally common.
