According to ianwskeldon, If you receive a phone call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft telling you that your computer is running slow or has a virus, they will eventually get you to visit this website and ask you to buy the software, it is a complete scam, they can't even spell properly!

I recieved a scam call allegedly from microsoft saying my IP address was hacked. Then they tried to send me to this site using run command. I suspect this product is owned by the scammers.

This is a legitimate company and product, but scammers will often send you here for the remote desktop software so they can hack your PC.
Only install this if you wanted it, or someone you know wants to connect to your PC.

As an IT professional, I will mess with these guys, but any normal user should be very careful with allowing remote access to your home/work pc. Please for the love of all things holy, don't let anyone you don't know log into your computer. They will show you harmless (but scary looking) stuff, then try to extort money from you to fix a problem you probably never had.
