I have seen countless Windows PC's infested with viruses and spyware. Many of them have the same thing in common: THEY HAVE NORTON ON THEM ! It does nothing, it picks up nothing. Its a joke. I have even seen numerous systems that have had their hard drives nuked by Norton itself. Don't buy this software, don't ever use it. It doesn't pick up viruses and spyware, and it is a data risk. That is why I rate this site so poorly. Symantec are peddling junk. EDIT: If you disagree with this comment consider this: I am an IT tech, I'm the guy you bring your computer to after Norton has turned it into a steaming pile of excrement. If you don't like my opinion, take it to someone else who will tickle your ears and get to you buy the latest version of this rubbish.

Symantec Online Store. I have been a Norton customer for years and their product gets better and better. The new 2009 line of products are extremely light and fast and uninstall cleanly now. Older versions did not uninstall cleanly however that is the case for most security software. If you need to remove a Norton product, they provide an easy to use Norton Removal Tool. I have used their products for years and never faced any problems. Norton Internet Security 2009 by far the lightest I have used.
