The Times Literary Supplement is to UK papers what the New York Times Book Review is to US papers. That the TLS is owned by Murdoch and his gang is unfortunate, but it is still well-respected in its own right.

News International owns papers such as The Sun, which is possibly the worst newspaper even to exist. They also own News of the World, whose reporters hacked into the phone of 9/11 and 7/7 victims, as well as the voicemail of murdered schoolgirl Milly Dowler. Both News International and it's parent company News Corporation are absolutely evil.
