This website is about satirical news. They usually are mocking something absurd or otherwise funny, that most of the time (the opinion on this might vary) is based on a real event or atleast is partly true in some form or ,in some cases, a pure joke. So, some "articles" are probably not true obviously. Never go into this site expecting real news. In terms of child safety, this website probably isn't the best for minors, as most children probably don't understand The Onion's level of humor and the website might sometimes have articles that are too much for them. However, I don't know about how ads works on this site, since I use Adblock all the time for various reasons, so don't take my word on them. that aside, there isn't really anything wrong on this website. It brings some laughs after a hard day and if you like satire, this "AMERICA'S FINEST NEWS SOURCE" is most likely for you. I trust that this website doesn't do anything harmful for you and your computer. Beware of the news content though, if you don't like satire.
