Obviously useful. Funny that it doesn't come up on the first page of results for me when I search for time zones though.

The official U.S. time of the United States cooperatively provided by the Department of Commerce agency, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and the U. S. Naval Observatory (USNO). Readings from the clocks of these agencies contribute to world time, called Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). The time maintained by both agencies should never differ by more than 0.000 0001 seconds from UTC.

This site is the only .gov site ive seen that is easy to use and helpful. I constantly find myself visiting this site to synchronize my watch, computer clock, and palm pilots.I think this is one of the most useful sites ive seen in awhile!
