This site is the site of Todd Starnes, who was employed by Baptist Press and in 2019 was released from his contract with Fox News after controversial comments on air. ***** reports news with a far-right bias that is not always factual as evidenced by several failed fact checks and the promotion of conspiracy theories. There is no legitimate reason this site should have a bad rating. Some people are misusing WOT. This is another example of those who talk loudest about being liberal and tolerant being illiberal and intolerant of those who offer other points of view. I rated this site suitable for kids because if a parent gives the kid permission to go to the site and the kid can understand it then there is nothing there that will be dangerous.

This is worrisome that it is drawing trustworthiness demerits. If people disagree with the website and its opinions, fine: I don't agree with everything on the site. However, pretending it's not "trustworthy" (when the definition meant is whether it's a site with malware, viruses, etc.) without any obvious cause (and I've been here multiple times without problems) is wrong. The worst case scenario is censorship by defamation/lying about an opposite opinion.

WOT is becoming irrelevant if people rate sites poorly because they don't agree with the opinions. WOT's stated purpose is "Ensure your internet safety. WOT protects you against scams, malware, rogue webstores and dangerous links." Ideas you don't agree with don't fall into that category.
