'Black hat' spammer to public online forums with fake 'fan-boy' accolades for their shoddy products and services. Recently the site owners asked for a review of their WOT rating. Five minutes into my efforts I came across a 'fan-boy' accolade on WOT from a brand new member extolling the magical properties of their software. It seems that a leopard (or a spammer) just cannot change their spots. This 'positive' review came on the heels of their request for re-evaluation and stinks of collusion. A very small amount of research has quickly shown that they have NOT given up their practice of spamming online computer help forums with shill/hawker Q&A exchanges. There are legitimate advertizing avenues that can be used to gain exposure to a product or service. There is no need to post fake shill/hawker posts in online computer help forums. If your product/service cannot survive on its own merits without chicanery then perhaps it is best if it wasn't on the market at all.
