Super handy when planning our vacation and very useful during the staying (find locals restaurants). At the last years, there is a lot of fraud and the score is a little bit bias, so check the reviews before taking the decision only by the rating.

очень полезный сайт. Часто при посещении какого либо заведения, места доверяюсь этому сайту. Пока не подводил.

From one hand - Trip Advisor is a very convient website (and app), I totaly trust them. The site is well known and 100% safe. However - I don't 100% trust the recommendation given there. I don't know how do they decide to give resturant 5 stars? Sometimes there is no corellation between the quality to their ranking.

A safe useful site to search for accomodation/leisure palces, but the moderation is somehow strange.

This site has a very blatant inherent conflict of interest: they edit and censor reviews while accepting advertisements from the very companies that are being reviewed. There are two motels locally who received unfavourable local newspaper coverage for renting some of their rooms monthly under little better than flophouse conditions: one was an independent (Kozy Inn), the other was a member of a national franchise brand. Predictably, the low-end independent motel got trashed in reviews and was listed correctly as one of the worst of the various local alternatives. The franchise motel? The underlying property was just as bad, but their review suddenly came complete with a response from the proprietor and a rating conveniently lower-middle instead of at the bottom where they belonged. Why? One innkeeper had the backing of a chain and a bit better support in being able to work the system. TripAdvisor is bad for censoring reviews. If criminal activity is taking place at a hotel/motel, expect that information to be excised or deleted. If the property's website is misleading, expect any review to be edited - not to warn the public, but to remove the direct link to the property from the review body text. Why? TripAdvisor wants to position themselves as middlemen and drive traffic to their own booking engine - not directly to the motel the way a listing in a reputable travel guide (like Wikivoyage) would link directly. It's unfortunate that censorship and self-serving activity taints what otherwise would be a useful and valuable tool. There is a lot of good user-supplied info - usually travellers will spot a once-reputable hotel going downhill long before the locals do, as the locals are at home comfortably asleep in their own beds. If anything, though, the censorship is worse than the already-severe manipulation of reviews on sites like Yelp as a review (instead of being randomly taken down without plausible explanation) doesn't even appear until it gets past staff at TripAdvisor. Pity. I can't say "don't look at the reviews" as sometimes they're useful, but a company purporting to review hotels should not be in bed with hôteliers the way this company seems to be - selling ads, inviting properties to display "approved by TripAdvisor" stickers or flags, basically engaging in promotion for vendors. It's much safer to check sources who send out their own reviewers - either automobile associations or national standards groups like Canada Select. Any of the current crop of websites is about as reliable as an "escort review board" sponsored by ads by the "ladies of the night" being reviewed - which is also easy to find and limited in its value beyond flagging obvious fraud or crime.

Users' reviews on restaurants, hotels, airports, airlines and other P.O.I.s., and ratings, as well. However, be careful: all reviews are moderated and - according to my own experience - negative reviews are usually blocked by the moderators. Alas, the page itself is quite safe.

Хороший сайт. Можно узнать то чего не говорят туроператоры

The site is very useful and safe, however, they can delete what you post for whatever reason, so be mindful of that.

This site has security issues, despite the trust seal by symantec. Received scam message through their server.

I'm a big fan of travelling, I enjoy wisiting new places, new cities and new countries. As for me, I prefer travelling on my own, without group of pople and so on. I'm nery grateful to creators of this app, cause in foreign counties I always use it and it helps a lot. I appreciate such great work, cause this app looks perfect for me.

Subject: Comfort Inn Green River  Location: Green River, Utah, United States, North America  Title: Noisey and Rude  ID#: *****   - - First. Never, ever, rent room 125 at this hotel! The noise in room 125 is very bad, as can be noted by several reviews on the hotels own web page. Sounds like a large water heater or something like that in the utility room right next door. Room 125 should never be offered for rent.On to the rudeness. Complained about noise at midnight, was told simply "nothin' you goin' to do about it" and the only person at the hotel walked away.1am the sewer started backing up through the sink. Found the rude night auditor again and asked for another room. "Hotel is full" and he walked away. This person refused any kind of help finding a room anywhere and refused to call the hotel manager.Tried to call the Choice Hotels customer service line, it is not available during the night.Overall, a bad experience with both Comfort Inn Green River and a not so good experience with the Choice Hotels customer service.
