Ist trustpilot.com sicher?

Trustpilot does not reflect the actual level of trustworthiness of many sites it lists. It says it estimates trust based on criteria such as "how close one website is to another". What does "close" mean? I don't consider it to be trustworthy or useful.

It's certainly a top place for leaving reviews. It's hilarious that I am leaving a review of the website with reviews =DD It would be cool if Trustpilot has separate section where people can leave their feedback about it. I am not aware of any issues connected to finding a proper company or maybe lags during publication of your review. Moreover, many companies chase the goal to have lots of reviews since this platform is renowned in the whole world. Much props to it, actually.

This site and organization is an outright scam. This site is frequently subject to score and comment manipulation (farmed customer invited ratings) and suspends legitimate accounts due to alleged automated spam detection (so they claim). Attempts to verify a trustpilot account through third-party software repeatedly failed and attempts to get assistance were ignored. Trustpilot has outstanding complaints against them as well since they basically run interference for those sites that pay them for protection. Untrustworthy.
