This site has had bad viruses, malware,BAD CODEC, and members report "professional hack tools" used on them.This website has porn,extreme violence, and although there ARE MEMBERS who are very good,well-behaving, but a huge majority of members are "trolls", often verbally attack,insult, and even use hack-tools on other members.The community tone of verbal attacks,insults, and "permanent trolls" make this site very hard to socialize on. There is NO BEHAVIOR that can get a member really banned.The administration protects all trolls, and ignores attacking and hacking members.--which ASKS THE QUESTION"whom IN Hong Kong owns this site?"--- and, is this site even legal to be in Mission Bay, in the USA, since the members are often very virulently anti-American? --to an extreme?" It may be legal, but it is not advisable to "trust"(see: viruses,malware) and the decidedly constant tone of insults,attacks,(verbal) and "verbal fighting" makes this a stressful site to be on.It has lost traffic,because of much break-down in equipment, resulting in often not functioning servers,and lack of broadband.It has videos and members internationally, and is over-stressed with too much data base. It does have well-behaving members and some advantages. But the politics and day-to-day behavior is very stressful.Some members who use the site, therefore, do not choose to socialize.There are not many movie sites left, so ***** is used often. Make your own decision, but be very cautious on this site.

I went there to watch a "free" movie. But now when I start my browser (Firefox), I see it's trying to Download a file called VeeHD_SetUp.com! What!? Do not go to VeeHD, they are trying to install a file AGAINST YOUR WISHES. Go to Amazon or some other site and pay the few dollars to safely watch yer movie or episode of a TV series.

I have been using this site for quite awhile,have downloaded/watched many movies and have never had one single instance of malware of any kind put on my PC.I have checked many times using several diff.anti-virus tools,but never found a thing. This is a Very trustworthy site IMO. The ONLY thing you should NOT do is to download their player. That IS bad,BUT if you create an account then log in you can download/watch w/o worry.Just make sure you have a current version of Divx installed on your PC. One more thing,they won't ask for a CC or anything else when you create an account.Everything is FREE. If you have adblock plus installed on your PC you won't be bothered with pop-ups.

How can a site possibly get so many "I don't trust it" reviews on WOT and end up with such an overall good rating? It makes absolutely no sense. This site constantly prompts you to download a packet of plugins in order to watch their videos (even if you've just downloaded their latest packet a few weeks earlier). This bundle of completely unnecessary plugins is invariably accompanied with adware and other garbage you absolutely do not want on your computer but which you must download before you can watch videos.

Other than hours of movie enjoyment, I have had no problems with this site during the 3 years of my membership. Since VeeHD does not have its own player and the videos are in mp4 and avi formats, Adobe Flash Player and Divx ("web player' only, preferably the older v. 1.5) must be installed. Never, Ever install any codec package VeeHD prompts you to install. Many have complained about the codec package (which includes malware) VeeHD requires users to install prior to using the site. ONLY those who have NOT LOGGED-IN will be prompted to install this package. Everyone must log-in at every visit to prevent the codec requirement. Why? I have not a clue. It is also recommended to use Ad Block Plus which eradicates all site ads. If one chooses to download a video, a video player such as VLC Player or KM Player will be required for playback. This site requires you to download/install a plug-in ... AND YOU DO NOT WANT TO DO THAT! In fact, NEVER install software that you do not KNOW is secure. This website does not define or explain their proprietary plug-in so you should avoid it like the plague.

BUT...Unlike those "cloned" movie sites this is legit, and actually has the films. However it misleads new users by claiming a codec (spyware) needs to be downloaded. That is FALSE, you only need to register. Also your first click on any part of the page opens a new browser window leading to a malicious site, unless you are logged in. Don't know why a real movie site like this is stooping to those tricks as they're only harming their reputation. So tread carefully, register, and allow it to automatically log you in on future visits.

shitloads of porn, never used to be, but, becoming more and more prevalent. The worst kinds of porn are not readily accessible, a friend request must be sent to view private collections where most of it is, however, checks about a persons age are never ever asked. Also make sure you make an account, all those people moaning about malware or spyware, obviously thought they could just leech the site, make an account, no spam, no spyware, no malware after account is made, but, don't let young children browse this site unaccompanied.

Claims you must install the V-codec to watch their videos. I think this wasn't always like this. It then proceeds to installs loads of crapware. Won't let you install JUST the V-codec. One of its crapwares is BABYLON Search which hijacks your browser search engine settings, etc. If this happens to you, use IOBIT Uninstaller and do a "Powerful Scan" after the Uninstaller runs. Then delete every item detected in the Registry. BABYLON fails to clean up after itself when you remove it, so this is necessary.

I love veehd. It has incredible streaming speeds (absolutely no delays in most cases!), a huge and rich selection of videos ... and a sleek interface to top it off. The only downside has been written about by the others extensively: * DO NOT INSTALL ANY CODECS FROM THIS SITE! -> especially NOT CODEC-C. To make the "Install Codec C" message go away you have to register with the site (it's ok to register with it!) and log in.
