West, was the keyboard player - cordovox, to be exact - and Dave Walker was the guitar player. Even the book - "The Movers and The Shakers" - from way back - has it wrong. Dave Walker was an excellent rhythum guitar player and singer who was the original singer for the group at the Disneyland gig during the sumers of '63 & '64. Gary played drums and didn't sing at that time. Dave Walker rehearsed all of us on the '50's r-n-r stuff like Johnny Be Goode - etc. - which got us the job at Disney.
