Безопасен ли vuze.com?

I downloaded and installed the Vuze app directly from the ***** site a few hours ago. The Vuze installer downloaded and installed api's and start-up items from ***** and www.unionsoftwareonline.com. The products piggybacked on the Vuze installer were: both Quick Browse and AppMonitor which resulted in re-directs and persistent adware, changed my Chrome, Safari and Firefox browser preferences, redirecting searches to Yahoo as the search engine with persistent links to api.unionsoftwareonline.com. These were installed on my Mac despite my selections during the Vuze installer run to install no additional or optional software. It took quite awhile to track down the hidden files installed and remove them from my Mac, OS ***** Beware!

What at one time was good site with useful software has become as malicious as any malware I've seen. The installation program will install add ons that will hijack every browser you have, even if you explicitly tell it not to. Even if you manage to uninstall the browser add ons and plug ins it installs, Vuze will auto upgrade itself every few days it seems and add them right back. Stay away from Vuze. There are other Bit Torrent clients on the web that work just as well

Great ad-free BitTorrent client, however when installing the software be sure to carefully inspect all pages of the installer, and uncheck/decline unwanted program offers. As with every torrent client, illegal content and adult content can be downloaded

This site will change all your default web browsers and add toolbars that just feed affiliate spam crap back to the developer, not adding to their specific software in any way. It's a pain in the ass to track down all of the junk they install without permission.

If you have the freaking annoying vuze toolbar with the download(eventhough) you disabled it during the download.... Then you can get ride of it, by doing system recovery ( Dutch word systeemherstel) Just recover your system from just before the download and it will get ride it, well here it worked. Good luck to all those who are pissed of by the ennoying toolbar. Wont use vuze never again now!!!
