Mother of spam emails they are difficult to stop / junk etc since they change email sender domains often (daily?) and replicate unwanted ad services. Junk monkier only acts on 1 domain. Connected to ***** among many others.

Yes, websitewelcome.com is a Hostgator/Bluehost property. Yes, you're seeing this in the spam warnings because of bad actors on your shared server hosting on either Hostgator or Bluehost. What you don't know is that Hostgator/Bluehost doesn't care. They'll let it ride forever, while your outgoing emails end up in the receiving server's shredder. When you call and let them know this is a problem for you, they don't assure you that they can and will fix it and that it won't be a problem in the future. Instead, they try to upsell you to insulate you from the crap they already allow in the first place. The lesson: Oh they are sheisty as all get out. Drop Hostgator/Bluehost like it's hot. maybe even consider sending your rep a letter to get these jerks on the Can Spam Act. Word to the wise: ***** is just a different clown at the same circus.

LATER: I was giving this domain the benefit of the doubt before but with a continued stream of phishing using this domain, I suspect it's just a phishy criminal who is hosting his phishy forms web site at HostGator. Guilty until I have some proof of innocence now. (Previous comment: This may be HostGator with a sterling reputation... but how is anyone supposed to figure that out, unless thay already know it's HostGator? Whois: Registrant Name: WHOIS AGENT Registrant Organization: WHOIS PRIVACY PROTECTION SERVICE, INC. Browse to domain: boilerplate "email abuse if you have any complaints, blah blah" with no other information whatsoever. dig to get the ip address, whois on the ip address, and get an address "Suite 100", in Houston. OK, at least it's not "Privacy Protected", but that's probably a UPS drop... google maps... Oh, lo and behold, that's the address for HostGator. Legitimate sites should not make themselves this hard to identify. No matter how fine and upstanding they are, it makes the domain look very, very sketchy, and when I've got a hundred missed spam cases to go through today, why should I have to spend this much effort to determine that this is not Fly-By-Night-Viagra.RU? *(grumble)*)

Used as a name server to resolve access to many phishing scams over more than 4 years. "For abuse issues related to the websitewelcome.com domain, please email your complaint with any relevant logs to abuse@websitewelcome.com" but they do nothing. Example: Domain Name: HOPSKIPDECORATE.COM (pwned) Registrar: ENOM, INC. Sponsoring Registrar IANA ID: 48 Whois Server: ***** Referral URL: ***** Name Server: NS1233.WEBSITEWELCOME.COM Name Server: NS1234.WEBSITEWELCOME.COM

This site has been used to send fake (spoofed) email pretending to be from our CEO. You should block any email with a @*.websitewelcome.com in the message header, as they will be some kind of (sophisticated) scam

This website is being used to send phishing emails in my name and to emails extracted from my contacts list. I have had a number of friends who received email with their first name in the subject and my name and email in the signature but with different phishing sites in the content. I examined the email headers and all of them came from this website. I do not know how they got my contact list. I've never gone to this website before

Spam message: "Cheryl Good. Unpaid Bill". From the header: gateway24.websitewelcome.com ([192.185.51.209]). IP traces to the domain "websitewelcome.com" as, as listed, and the only thing on that site now is "For abuse issues related to the websitewelcome.com domain, please email your complaint with any relevant logs to abuse@websitewelcome.com". They will be blocked by tonight. Website looks to be suspended, anyway.

Phishing e-mail attempting to impersonate PayPal stating "your account will be closed". URLs point to malicious content hosted on duster.websitewelcome.com

As other users of Hostgator have mentioned, this domain name is being unfairly flagged because it is shown in the email trace, when in fact the spamming domains are not websitewelcome.com but some others that are likely (and unfortunately) also renting server space from Hostgator, com, Eventually hostgator will catch up to the spammers and shutdown their sites as spamming is against the user agreement, but just like with ANY hosting service, the hosting company doesn't typically have a way to know in advance that the people renting will abuse their service. So many are posting the domain names of the spammers - why would you not report THOSE domain names. This domain is a hosting server, it is NOT the spammer. PLEASE if you do report to WOT or any other, please report the actual domain name of the spammer and not the host server in the email header. You may also report the spam directly to help the hosting company stop the spammers - as mentioned on the websitewelcome.com homepage: "For abuse issues related to the websitewelcome.com domain, please email your complaint with any relevant logs to ***** "
