Site requires payment to claim rewards you earned. So once they get Credit Card or PayPal they can bill you as they see fit. Also involved in IRS evasion/Internet Gambling problems.

I've been a member for 4 years at WW and I have never once received any spam from them and they dont' have any "partners" that send spam either. Customer service is responsive and quick. Site does absolutely nothing that it does not quite clearly say that it will do. They do send a lot of email, but you can opt-out quite easily; I have never found it to be a problem.
